The experience with Thomas was both practical and education at the same time.
Even before we sat on the bike, Thomas spent time taking my history, my fitness level, my goals. Then he made me do some stretches so he can access the limitations.
The actual bike fit was very scientific. Pressure pads were used on saddle and shoes. We quickly learnt that I had disbalance, with 75% of power coming from left hip. Thomas corrected all that. With multiple iterations, the balance was restored and biking fell very comfortable.
It has been a months since I had that fit and the comfort on bike is amazing now.
I am glad I went to Thomas and I would highly recommend him to anyone serious about improving on bike. Right bike fit is more important than any aero helmet or any other investment.
Nach vielen Überlegungen habe ich mich als Hobbytriathlet dazu entschieden, dass sich ein Experte mein Rennrad und mich mal genauer anschaut und unter die Lupe nimmt, um endlich heraus zu finden, wieso ich seit letztem Jahr immer Nackenschmerzen und Druckschmerzen unter den Fußballen bekomme, gefolgt von kurzen Schmerzen in den Handgekenken. Ich bin mit dem allg. Service und der Betreuung während des Bike Fittings voll zufrieden, mir wurden alle Fragen beantwortet und ich bekam viel Input über viele Daten, die ich bisher noch nicht kannte. Während mehreren Messfahrten wurde meine Sitzposition angepasst. Es wurde festgestellt, dass ich andere Schuhe benötige und das meine jetzigen Einlagen für meine Füße nicht passend sind.

Ich bin als Einsteigerin/ Anfängerin zu Bike Academy gekommen und Thomas und Adam haben sich perfekt auf mein Level eingestellt. Meine Bedenken, dass ich von den Profis evtl von oben herab behandelt werden könnte, wurden bereits im ersten Telefonat ausgeräumt. Ich bin sehr happy mit allen Anpassungen und den zugehörigen Erläuterungen. Ich war hier ganz sicher nicht zum letzten Mal und kann einen Termin dort absolut empfehlen! Danke!

I had my first fitting session with Thomas and Adam in October after having started riding just a few months prior, so being a total newbie. I had a couple of minor discomforts at that point especially on the saddle and wanted them get sorted. Fitting was methodical and took hours, they really took their time to look at every detail - which was very reassuring for someone who didn't (and still doesn't, quite ;) ) know what to look out for.
We started at the feet and shoes and since my feet are vastly different in size I needed two different sizes in the end, which I got for the price of one pair which was really nice. Then we worked out way up, I also got a new saddle, needed to remodel my cockpit a bit with a shorter stem and narrower handlebars. A couple months and ~3k ridden later I have no problems anywhere except for a bit of discomfort in one foot. For this, Thomas took me in on short notice to adjust the shoe a little more and it already feels much better.
Overall I can recommend them wholeheartedly if you are serious about getting fitted properly - because so are they. I'm sure I'll be returning when I need expert opinion!
