Erfahrungen mit Aaron Pilsan

I have started this piano Academy in September 2025 and it was a really good decision. After twenty years playing on my own I have discovered the online piano teaching as a new tool. The Aaron Pilsan Academy is a very well organised platform allowing you to progress, make exercices at your own rhythm, train your performance skills by playing in the (online) presence of other people and to know other mentees. In this community we also discuss about music in general, the preparation of performance situations and evidently stage fright (mindset). The teaching is very helpful and performed by two experienced concert pianists. After six months I clearly see my own progress, not only for playing, but for reading the sheet music - with all these many indications.

Den positiven Rezensionen hier kann man kaum etwas hinzufügen. Es macht wirklich Spaß und ist sehr hilfreich für alle, die gerne besser Klavier spielen möchten. Die strukturierten Übungen und die diversen Video Meetings helfen einem sehr viel weiter. Und man ist in einer Community, die die gleichen Ziele hat wie man selbst und mit der man sich gut austauschen kann.

Ich habe vor 7 Monaten mit dem Klavierspielen begonnen und bin seit 3 1/2 Monaten in der Pilsan Academy. Für mich könnte es nichts besseres geben. Anleitungsvideos in kleinen "Häppchen", die absolute Basics leicht und verständlich erklärt, sinnvolle Übungen für das tägliche Üben und viele verschiedene Live-Classes pro Woche. Aaron und die anderen großartigen Pianocoaches, Mario und Nicolas nehmen sich IMMER ausreichend Zeit und helfen jedem Amateur oder Profipianisten besser zu werden. Dabei sind alle sehr sympathisch, empathisch und humorvoll. Es wird viel gelacht und der Spaß kommt nicht zu kurz. Daumen hoch.
Ich habe in den 3 1/2 Monaten unglaublich viele Fortschritte gemacht. Natürlich liegt es immer auch an einem selbst, wie viel man übt. Mit dem Piano-Master-System von Aaron sollte es aber jedem möglich sein, dieses wundervolle Hobby auszuüben und Fortschritte zu machen, auch wenn du glaubst wenig Zeit zu haben. Ich könnte noch so viel mehr schreiben. Mein Tipp: Probestunde buchen und schauen, ob die Chemie stimmt.

Hi everyone. I worked with Aaron for about 3 months. I’ve loved playing piano since I was young, but when I started working, I let my piano gather dust. During Covid, I started playing again and achieved Grade 8. However, I know my skills still have a lot of room to improve. I’m aiming to reach a higher level in ABRSM.

I was looking for a mentor who could really help me improve my techniques, and by chance, I found Aaron on social media. I was impressed by his online course, which I hadn’t considered before. At first, I was unsure and curious about how online piano lessons would work. After joining, my mind completely changed. The academy is very systematic—we can watch course videos and techniques online at our own pace. Every week, there are technique sessions to track progress and performance classes to share with other mentees. I met many people who are also passionate about playing piano in those classes.

Aaron and Mario are great mentors. They have the heart and patience to help me with every problem I encountered. I feel so lucky to have found Aaron. There are no boundaries between face-to-face and online learning, especially when you have a great teacher like Aaron. I definitely recommend him to anyone interested in playing piano, whether you’re a beginner or a professional. Just find Aaron as your mentor!

I thought I'd give it a try, and since then, I've been a loyal member. There's no turning back! He has put a lot of thought into this well-rounded program, and we also benefit from input by other renowned musicians and music industry professionals. His workshop in Berlin was an unforgettable and highly motivating experience.

Aaron verhalf mir nicht nur zu rascheren Lernerfolgen, sondern durch seine stets wertschätzende Art und seinen Humor auch über meine Nervosität hinweg. I am an amateur pianist and have been a member of the Pilsan Academy since February 2025.
Even after this short time, I am totally convinced by the concept. My piano playing has already improved a lot and I am enjoying playing the piano even more than before. I am also motivated to play pieces that I have always wanted to play but have not dared to play for various reasons.
Aaron Pilsan is always very friendly, patient and, despite his international career as a concert pianist, very unpretentious as a person – and at the same time inspiring as a musician. In particular, he is very good at empathizing with the problems of amateurs (advanced and less advanced), so his advice is very helpful to me. I particularly benefit from his feedback because, on the one hand, he clearly recognizes and identifies my pianistic problems and insecurities and, on the other hand, he gives me very useful and practical advice in just a few words. Honest feedback is very important to me because I occasionally play in front of friends or in small public settings and don't want to make a fool of myself.
Apart from that, I also appreciate the wide range of offers available to members of the academy: there is a Facebook group where you can ask questions about technical problems (e.g. even about fingerings) at any time of the day or night, and you get answers pretty quickly. There is also a large online program with lots of explanatory videos and exercises (mindset, technique, interpretation and performance practice...).
For professional and personal reasons, I am not very flexible in terms of time and location, so I am particularly pleased about the many online offers: first of all, there are the regular live sessions (four times a week via zoom). All questions about playing the piano are answered in detail there - by an internationally recognized and respected concert pianist. What an honor, what an opportunity to get feedback from such a great and competent pianist!
Conclusion: I am totally thrilled by the Pilsan Academy and can recommend it without reservation.
