Erfahrungen mit Fired Up

I had an incredibly positive experience with Firedup and cannot recommend both the team and my coach, Shamin, highly enough. From the very beginning, the Firedup team were supportive, responsive, and genuinely invested in helping me find the right coach for me.

I initially came into coaching feeling extremely directionless, overwhelmed, and held back by a deep lack of confidence and fear around taking the next steps in my career and personal goals. Over just six sessions, Shamin helped me uncover patterns and beliefs that I hadn’t fully recognised in myself before, and gave me practical tools and perspectives that I genuinely believe will stay with me long after our coaching has ended.

What stood out most to me was how safe, calm, and supported I felt speaking with her from the very beginning. She has an incredible ability to create a space where you feel truly heard without judgement, which made it much easier for me to be open and honest about where I was struggling. I often left our sessions feeling calmer, clearer, and more grounded than when I arrived.

She is also incredibly perceptive. There were multiple moments where I would say something on the surface, and she would gently pick up on the deeper meaning or belief underneath it in a way that honestly felt like she could read my mind at times. As someone who is very capable of intellectualising or talking around difficult things, I found this especially valuable. She had a way of helping me see myself more clearly without ever making me feel judged or defensive.

Rather than simply focusing on jobs or applications, Shamin helped me reconnect with what actually feels meaningful and aligned for me, while also gently challenging the fear and self-doubt that were keeping me stuck. She has such a thoughtful, compassionate, and intuitive approach, and I genuinely feel more motivated, productive, and hopeful about my future because of our work together.

I’m incredibly grateful for the support, encouragement, and care she brought to every session, and I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone feeling stuck, lost, or unsure of their next steps.

Being laid off late last year hit differently. The market was tough, I was getting interviews but kept getting rejected for roles I knew I'd be a perfect fit for. I decided to work with a job coach.

As someone in talent acquisition, I'll admit that took some mental gymnastics. But I reminded myself I don't know everything, and reached out to Fareen through Fired Up. What drew me to Fareen specifically: her HR background and her experience as an immigrant in Germany. I knew she'd understand my situation without me having to over-explain as she already had the context. Our sessions were genuinely valuable. She helped me think differently about my search — tapping into hidden job markets, activating my network, and reaching out to people on LinkedIn I didn't know yet. That last part took me the longest to get comfortable with. But Fareen reminded me of something I'd forgotten: I'm actually good at building connections. I just needed to get out of my own way.
