Great event - the atmosphere is fantastic even when the weather was absolutely diabolical!!! Easy to follow route & great little feed stations - back next year!
Fantastic organisation and brilliant race experience. Thank you!
I've done a fair few of these events and would definitely recommend to anyone. Really well organized, amazing support crew along the way and stunning routes along the coast. Keep up the awesome work!
This was a well organised race & the second time of running this race & conquering parts of the beautiful Cornish coastline, the weather didn’t dampen any spirits thankfully!
Only negative I’d say is the what3words/QR codes for the change over points were actually pointless as the lack of mobile signal in certain areas wasn’t helpful meaning you had to just drive round hoping to find signal to allow you to navigate to where you need to be. If you add postcodes & actual directions to the places it would prevent lots of cars following the quickest route which meant lots of cars were on the same route as the runners.
Not everyone has mobile phone with inbuilt maps so using a satellite navigation in a car wouldn’t work due to the lack of postcodes…
Classic Quarter - overall a great event and very well organised. Well signposted route apart from one fork where I went wrong. Two things you need to rectify though -1. the elevation on your website is WAY out, it’s much more than you state and this is misleading if you haven’t done the route before. 2. The finish line is a bit underwhelming but most importantly there was no food or even water at the finish. I was handed a red bull which after 8hrs was the last thing I wanted! You at least need water and some normal food, maybe even a hot drink k given the weather on Sunday! I would def do it again and it is a great event but the finish line does need some consideration. Thanks again for organising though!
A very well organised event in difficult weather conditions. I raced the Classic Quarter ultra marathon and all went smoothly with regular aid stations, clear signposting, and good support. The test of a good event company is that you don't notice any problems when you're racing and can just get on with the job and this was the case at the weekend. A slick operation I thought from a team that know what they're doing. Nice one guys. 5 stars.
An amazing experience at the Classic Quarter last Saturday! It was perhaps the most brutal challenge I’ve undertaken to date, but such a beautiful route. I didn’t think I’d say this but I’ll be back to do it again, if only to sample the first 22 miles in decent weather - The wind and rain certainly made it an interesting morning. Very well route-marked with great support along the route. Led by a helpful organisation in EnduranceLife too who I was very impressed with. The running community is truly special.
Good event (Classic Quarter) from Endurance Life and brilliant support from their team especially in the weather conditions. 5 stars so far.
However when the results came in, I was classed as DNF even though I had a finish time and finisher medal. (Corrected within 24hrs). I finished in the middle of the field and one of the check-points was almost out of coke when I went through. This also happened previously when asking a friend for tips who completed it in 2025.
Aid stations were limited and lacked selection compared to like for like priced/distance events I've attended. I ran another event who sent out photos of what to expect at aid stations in the correspondence the week before so everyone knew what to expect and could plan, this would be a simple solution to include in the runners manual.
I ran the Classic Quarter Relay organised by endurance life. It was a really tough but very well organised event along a beautiful part of the UK coastline
