Great event, well organised, fab marshalls, definitely recommended!
This is the 3rd time I’ve completed the Classic Quarter and this year was hands down the toughest conditions. Despite this, it made it even more enjoyable to complete my leg against a backdrop of atrocious wind and rain.
My thanks goes out to all the Marshalls and supporters who braved the day to make this iconic event so special.
Insane weather to race in but incredibly well marked course. My only complaint was no toilets at the second handover point between stage 2 and stage 3
The classic Quarter Lizard to Lands End 71km brutal, beautiful and bonkers…I absolutely loved it. Endurance Life are a great team. Events are always well organised, there is always someone to answer last minute questions or concerns and great medals too, not the crappy wooden ones that I use for kindling 😂
The race course itself is excellent, with great views and a varied trails. The event itself could do with some thought. The timing system is frustrating, as it can take considerable time to be scanned in at each timing point. Whilst I appreciate the foot pump drinking water systems make them need little input from support crew, there often only being one at at aid station, and the length of time it takes to fill a water bottle left long queues, yet again slowing down the race. One aid station even ran out of food… unacceptable. This could be such an excellent race, but it’s let down by some easily remedied factors. Be better.
This was to be my longest and toughest race to date. Unfortunately it became my first DNF.
Apart from the gale force winds, the race for me went smoothly from day of entry to finish.
The endurance life team answered several emails I sent very quickly.
The aid stations were fab, and the staff when I withdrew were very caring and attentive.
No hesitation in recommending this stunning race in a stunning location.
The most scenic trail run you’ll ever do. We run it every year and hopefully always will for as long as our bodies will allow us to! Can’t recommend it enough.
I completed this event at the weekend and it was an amazing experience (apart from the weather). Marshalls were all brilliant, well stocked aid stations and brilliantly waymarked. The amount of spectators out cheering us all on was fantastic.

I ran the first leg of the Classic Quarter quad relay in 2026 and loved it, despite the weather conditions (gale force wind and rain!) It’s a beautiful course and a fun experience, and this was my second time (I ran leg 2 in 2025). Apart from a few issues with information regarding parking and routes for accessing checkpoints and changeover points, which I have fed back to the company, it was a well organised event. Hoping to do it again!
